Celestial North fosters comprehension and enjoyment of the sciences by bringing the excitement and wonder of the universe into Puget Sound communities, schools and homes.
Celestial North's Programs
Celestial North takes an award-winning multi-faceted approach to accomplish our mission:
- Fun and educational multimedia presentations and activities for schools and the general public
- "It's Over Your Head" weekly astronomy radio broadcasts/podcasts, plus special interviews
- Internships for budding science writers, journalists, and broadcasters
- The Celestial North website - online resources and podcasts (radio broadcast archives)

Celestial North's Audiences and Venues
Celestial North meets people (of all ages) where they are, in a variety of venues:
- Elementary through High School (public and private)
- The general public (science centers, community centers, libraries, etc.), including senior citizens
- Alternative schools and English Language Learners
- Astronomy clubs and societies
- Special Events
